Electrify is a dynamic new digital media company that invests in and scales creators with an established YouTube presence.
Our mission is to turn creators into global media businesses by building teams, scaling the production and distribution of their content and introducing new revenue streams across platforms. We acquire between 50% and 100% of creator businesses. We have raised multiple funding rounds and have invested in a variety of leading channels, including Veritasium, Mentour Pilot, Simple History, Astrum & Astrum Earth, and Fern.

About the role
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Development Lead to drive new business opportunities across our portfolio of channels. This is a client-facing, revenue-focused role ideal for someone who understands the creator economy deeply, knows how brands think, and can build strong relationships with agencies and advertisers.
You’ll play a key role in helping our creators monetize their content through brand partnerships. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and developing brand partnerships within our Brand Partnerships Team.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify partnership opportunities with blue-chip brands and leading agencies aligned with Electrify’s creator portfolio, positioning Electrify as a strategic partner and for long-term brand relationships.
Drive revenue by educating brands and agencies on Electrify’s full suite of offerings, with a strong focus on unlocking new business opportunities.
Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Leverage your existing network of brand and agency contacts to generate new business and accelerate deal flow.
Develop tailored proposals and packages for YouTube creators and branded content campaigns.
Conduct proactive outreach via email, LinkedIn, industry events, and personal relationships.
Track leads, outreach activity, and deal progress using internal tools and provide regular pipeline and performance reporting.
Stay ahead of trends in the creator economy, branded content, and digital advertising to inform sales strategy and partnership opportunities.
Skills and Experience
2+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles with clear revenue or target ownership
Comfortable working towards KPIs, quotas, and performance metrics
Background in media, influencer marketing, advertising, or digital sales preferred
Strong client-facing experience with brands and/or agencies
Ability to identify opportunities, open doors, and convert conversations into partnerships
Commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and closing skills
Highly motivated, proactive, and resilient self-starter
Strong understanding of the creator economy and YouTube ecosystem
Existing network of brand and agency contacts is a strong advantage
